Control the Untamed is an announcement responding to the private ownership of exotic animals in Ohio. Until a tragic incident occurred in 2011, any person in Ohio, as well as 6 other states, had a right to own an exotic animal as a pet (lions, tigers & bears, etc).

The tangles within this installation represent the restrained and bound environments these animals are often placed in when they are not owned by those who are part of accredited zoos and/or wildlife sanctuaries.
